Discover local stories and connect with the writers behind them through our Local Author Book Club. Each selection will feature a book by a local author, giving readers the chance to spend time with the story, discuss it together, and then hear directly from the author.
The club is designed as a multi-meeting experience, giving readers time to work through the book at a comfortable pace before coming together for discussion and a final author Q&A.
Our first selection is Making Russian Dolls by Kim Conway.
A historical espionage novel, Making Russian Dolls follows characters drawn into Russian intelligence and covert operations during the years surrounding World War II.
We will meet on October 1 to pick up books and get started, return on October 15 for our first group discussion, and meet again on October 29 for our final discussion and Q&A with Kim Conway.
This is a chance to read local, support local authors, and connect with other readers while getting a closer look at the stories being written in our community.
