Collection: Kristian Zenz

Kristian Zenz is an author, poet, and spoken-word artist from West Allis, Wisconsin. His three works include a science fiction 2050, published in 2019, and two poetry collections Deadly Grievances and Vernacular Whirlwind, released in 2021 and 2023. Known for emphatic performances and energetic delivery, Zenz aims to inject moxie and attitude back into poetry, something one of his influences, Charles Bukowski, feels the art form has lost. Zenz combines influences across a wide array of voices and styles, from Aristotle to SpongeBob, and David Bowie to Kendrick Lamar. Zenz provides poetry and artistry that is unique, memorable, and charismatic. He resides in his hometown of West Allis and has recently earned a four-year degree from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, majoring in English and Philosophy.
