This is a collection of mystery stories. But the word mystery covers many different types of story. Detection or prevention of a crime can make a mystery story. So can escape from a grave danger. There can be humor in a mystery story. Magic is certainly a mystery, and so is a story of the magical. Or the strange and unknown can be a mystery story.
In this book I've tried to include samples of several different kinds of mystery stories which I have written. I've included some humorous ones and some might be a little scary, Short ones and long ones. Some suspenseful. Some strange and colorful. You might call this book almost a mystery sampler.
